Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) atau perusahaan negara yaitu sebuah perusahaan yang seluruh atau sebagian besar modalnya dimiliki negara. BUMN dapat berbentuk perusahaan umum (perum) dan perseroan terbatas (persero). BUMN bergerak di bidang usaha yang bersifat strategis atau vital, misalnya bidang energi listrik dan telekomunikasi.
