A narrative is a type of literary text that tells a story. It presents a series of events which can either be true or fictitious.
Nonfiction narratives include biography, autobiography, memoir, diary and many more.
Fiction narratives may be picture books, cartoons, mystery, fantasy, adventure, science fiction, historical fiction, fairy tales, myths, legends, fables, and plays.
