What Does Energy Look Like?
Close your eyes and imaginethe various different types of energy transfers and transformaions!

Open the folded paper and take a few minutes to hypothesis which energy transformation has occured!

Stand up, Hand up, Pair up!
Stand up and walk around the classroom. Ask other groups which energy transfer their found in their folded paper. Stick with them til we all find someone similar!

One of the most satisfying things to watch is a homerun hit over the fence!
Mechanical energy is used to move the bat to hit the ball, transferring mechanical energy from the bat to kinetic energy to the ball!

How many of us have gone camping before? Have you started a fire with you campmates?
Thermal energy is converted to Kinetic energy when the source is lit on fire!
