Read the text to answer the questions

In twenty years, I see myself being happy with the love of my life. I think I will have two children. I will also have a big house in a small village with a large garden because I want to have two dogs. What will

I do? I don’t know. However, I believe I will become a vet because I love animals. I hope I will travel a lot, so I need to improve my English. I will probably visit famous places, but I am sure that I won’t climb Mount Everest. I hate climbing. What about my free time? I suppose that I won’t play computer games at all because I will prefer to meet my friends and walk my dogs. In short, I believe I will be happy and

achieve everything I want.

Read the interview and answer the questions

Kevin: Hello James, my name’s Kevin. And I work at CIEE. First, I will ask you a few questions and then we can talk about the job position. OK?

James: Hello. Yes, of course.

K: First, could you briefly introduce yourself?

J: Well, my name’s James and I am 22 years old. I am studying Economy in Prague. I love cooking, going out and playing the guitar in my free time.

K: That sounds great. Why do you want to participate in the Work and Travel program?

J: I want to improve my English and travel around the USA.

K: Why do you want to work as a kitchen helper?

J: As I have said, I love cooking. I also work part-time in a restaurant in Prague as a kitchen helper.

K: OK. Thank you. Now, let me tell you something about the position you are applying for. You will have to work about 10 hours a day. The summers are extremely busy. You will have to help prepare breakfast and lunch for the guests. You will have to start working very early, but you will finish at 3 pm.

J: That sounds good.

K: OK, do you want to ask me about something?

J: Yeah, how much will I be paid?

K: As a kitchen helper it is $180 per week. Any other questions?

J: I don’t think so.

K: OK, James. Thank you very much for coming. We’ll contact you soon.
