proper noun?

A person's name:

I bet you have a name, I know I do.

My name is Mr. Stevens. "Mr. Stevens" is a proper noun. I have a son. My son is a person, so he's a noun. His name is James and "James" is a proper noun.

A proper noun is the name of a person. ​

Are you a person? I bet you are! Your name is a proper noun, too!

I don't always teach at an elementary school, but when I do it is at Hancock Place Elementary School​.

I hope you noticed that some words are spelled with lowercase and uppercase!

Look at these two sentences:

In the first sentence the person's name was capitalized, but in the second sentence it wasn't!

Do you see what's wrong in the second sentence? Is the person's name capitalized? Is a thing that shouldn't be capitalized, also?
