​Used to find the missing SIDE of a Right Triangle

Pythagorean Triples

Three common triangle side lengths that form a right triangle, such that a² + b² = c²

Examples:

3,4,5----- 3² + 4² = 5² 9 + 16 = 25

5, 12, 13....5² + 12² = 13² 25 + 144 = 169​

Pythagorean Triples

If you can remember the first four, it will cut down on your problem-solving work!!!

​Other Pythagorean Triples can be generated multiplying these triples by some number.

Example: 3, 4, 5 can generate triangles with sides: 6, 8, 10 &

9, 12, 15​
