​1. Cấu trúc với “began/ started” (... bắt đẩu làm gì từ. )

S + began/started + to V/ V-ing + time + ago.

= S + have/has + V3 + for + khoảng thời gian.

since + mốc thời gian​

​2. Cấu trúc với “last” (lần cuối...)

S + last + Ved/2 + time + ago.

= S + have/ has + not+ Ved/3 + for + khoảng time.

= It’s + time + since + S + last + Ved/2.

= The last time + S + Ved/2+ was + time + ago.

​Ex: I last went shopping 2 weeks ago.

​3. Cấu trúc với “the first time...” (lần đầu làm gì...) This is the first time + S + have/ has + V3/ed.

= S + have/ has + never + Ved/3+ before.

​4. Cấu trúc với “too/ so + adj + that ...”(...quá....để cho ai làm gì...)

S + be + too + adj + (for sb) + to V0.

= S + be + so+ adj + that + S2 + can’t/ couldn’t + to V0.

​Ex: The coffee is too hot for him to drink.

= The coffee is ………………………………………………………...

​5. Cấu trúc với “too/ so + adv + that...” (...quá....để cho ai làm gì...)

S + V + too + adv + (for sb) + to V0.

= S + V + so + adv + that + S2 + can’t/ couldn’t + to V0.

​6. Cấu trúc với “enough”

S + be + too+ adj + to do sth.

= S + be + not + adj (từ trái nghĩa với câu gốc) +enough + to do sth.​

​7. Cấu trúc vói “It’s + adj” (Rất... để ai đó không làm gì...)

It’s + adj + (for sb) + to do sth.

= [V-ing + sth] + be (is/was) + adj + (for sb).

8a. This is the + adj(+ est)/ most adj + danh từ + S + have/ has + V3/ed.
