​An action is happening now or habitual things that occur in the present. Use to express actions that happen at present, regulary.​

Rules:

1. If the subject is singular​, add "s" to the based form of the verb.

2. ​If the subject is plural, DO NOT add "s" just copy the base form of the verb.

​Example:

​

1. Mrs. Reyes always orders pizza at Pizza Treat.​

2. ​The children attend flag ceremony everyday.

​​

1. Mrs. Reyes ( the subject is singular)

   ( add "s" to the base-form of the verb, order to orders)

2. children ( the subject , children is plural so do not add "s" to the base-form attend.
