Finding percent of the data

Step 1: Count the total amount of numbers in the data set!

Step 2: Count only the amount of numbers in the set you want to know the percentage of.

Step 3: Make a fraction: denominator = the total number in the data set, numerator = the number in the set you want to know the percentage of

Step 4: Divide the numerator by the denominator, YOU SHOULD GET A DECIMAL!!!

Step 5: Move the decimal to the right one place value for the percent.​
