Nouns and -ing

We always use nouns or verbs after love/like/hate/enjoy/don't mind.

If we use a verb we need to add -ing to the verb.

Examples => I love watching movies => Pedro hates getting up early => Ester likes going on shopping to Falabella => Marcos doesn't mind walking to work.

Take => Taking - Live => Living // Sit => Sitting - Plan => Planning

Spelling rules

> Usually we just add -ing to the end of the verbs. (Playing-Learning-Reading)

> When the word ends in a consonant and e, we remove the e and then we add -ing (Take => Taking/Live => Living). However, we don't do that with Be => Being

> When the word has only one ends in a vowel and a consonant, we double the final consonant and then we add -ing. (Sit => Sitting/Plan => Planning)

> When the word ends with L, we double the L and then we add -ing (Travel => Travelling)
