We use Must not (Mustn't) to say that something is prohibited and can't be done.

Every time we have either must or mustn't that action can't be changed it has to be done or not done.

Have to in questions

If we use have to in sentences the meaning is compulsory.

(Not) have to
We use (not) have to when we want to say that something is not necessary and you can choose whether you do it or not.
Examples: You don't have to wear your masks in the theatre => María doesn't have to carry her ID card during the travel.
Remember that we say prohibitions with mustn't, but don't have to means that you can choose between two options, something is not necessary but you still can do it if you want.
