Respect in the Library
Before entering:
Sanitize.

Place your bags, food, drinks, and other things on the baggage shelf.

Respect in the Library
Reading Area
This area is carpeted so you can sit or lie down while reading.
This area is a "socks-only" zone
You may choose a book to read from the shelves (only one book at a time, please)
After reading, please put the book in the big box.
*If you know how to tie your shoes, then you can stay on the carpet. If you're still learning, then you can sit on a chair.
10
Respect in the Library
While inside the library:
Keep the library clean and quiet
Focus on your own book or work.
If you need to bring your writing materials and notebooks, please ask for permission from Sir Mark.
If you need to talk to someone, keep it soft and short.
Move as quietly as you can.
*You may approach Sir Mark if you need help with something.
11
- Unattributed
"Break the silence only if you can improve upon it"

Respect in the Library
Healthy habits check:
Sometimes, Sir Mark will ring a bell. When you hear it:
Check if you are following the library rules.
Check if you are practicing physical distancing.
Check if you are wearing your mask properly.
*You may be asked to leave the library if you are not following the rules so that other people can read in peace.
13
Respect in the Library
Exiting the library:
Before going outside, make sure:
You have returned the book you were reading.
You have returned the chair you were using.
You have put on your shoes and gathered your things from the baggage shelf.
Quietly exit using THE EXIT DOOR.
*The exit door is different from the one you used to enter.
