The European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu) is a set of digital competences specific for teachers in order to be able to seize the potential of digital technologies for enhancing and innovating education

These areas are focus on different aspects of educators’ professional activities:

1.Professional Engagement:
Using digital technologies for communication, collaboration and professional development in 4 branches:
Organizational communication with the school cummunity.
Professional collaboration with other teachers
Reflective practice about learning process
Digital Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

2.Digital Resources
Sourcing, creating and sharing digital resources. There are 3 branches:
1. Selecting digital resources according to a specific objective.
2. Creating and modifying open digital resources.
3. Managing, protecting and sharing digital resources to protect sensitive digital content.

3.Teaching and Learning
Managing and orchestrating the use of digital technologies in teaching and learning. There are 4 branches:

Collaborative learning in assigments and lessons

Using digital technologies and strategies to enhance assessment. there are 3 branches:
