What does iSEE stand for?
The I means IDEA. This is the first sentence of your paragraph and is meant to focus on the topic expressed in the prompt and strongly relate to the thesis. It's what the paragraph is about.
The S stands for SUMMARY. Summaries provide details or context for textual evidence in ways that maintain the meaning and logical order.

What does iSEE stand for?
The first E stands for EVIDENCE. Evidence is facts or information that are well-chosen to support the idea of the paragraph. It must clearly connect to the thesis of the essay.
The last E means EXPLANATION. The explanation is commentary that is original (not a summary or repeat of the evidence) and logically connects the evidence to the idea.
