We use the verb ESTAR to talk about LOCATION and POSITION. After each location preposition, you must include DE! ​

To tell time, you use these sentence starters-->

Anything past the half hour--> round up, and subtract ​

Ex:

3:50 p.m. --> son las cuatro menos diez de la tarde​

1:30 a.m.--> es la una y media de la mañana​

Demonstrative adjectives tell us the location of something relative to the speaker! Adjectives ALWAYS agree in gender/number!

​Direct Object Pronouns

lo/la--> it los/las--> them

DOPs replace objects in order to avoid repetition.​

DOPs are placed BEFORE a conjugated verb or ATTACHED to an infinitive. ​

Yo quiero traer el almuerzo. --> Yo lo quiero traer. / Yo quiero traerlo. (lo) ​
