​Theoretical Probability: What we expect to happen in an event. The probability of each outcome occurring.

​ Ex: The theoretical probability of rolling a dice and landing on a 2 is 1 in 6 because there is 1 favorable outcome out of the total number of outcomes.

Favorable Outcome: The outcome you are looking for.

Ex: If you are trying to find the probability of flipping a coin and landing on heads, your favorable outcome is heads.​
