Connotation
An idea or feeling that a word communicates feelings and can subtly change the word's meaning.
Words either have a positive meaning or a negative meaning, depending on how you use them.

The dictionary definition of a word.
Word | Definition | Connotation |

Brutal | extremely cruel | negative, typically violent. |
Tight | Fixed, firmly in place | positive, great, or awesome. |
Antique | A collectible or of high value. | positive means it is worth more than the average typical item. |
