Abortion is defined as "the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus."​

  1. Termination: the action of brining something or coming to an end

  2. pregnancy: ​The state of carrying a developing embryo or eturs within the female body
