Rotation means to spin around a point at it's center.
Picture spinning a basketball on your finger.
Where your finger is, is the axis.
As the earth moves around the sun, it spins around itself.

A Revolution is when the earth moves around the sun on it's orbit once.
The orbit is an imaginary line that the earth cannot move off of.
It takes 365.24 days for the earth to journey around the sun - a year.
This causes the seasons.
Some text here about the topic of discussion.
So what is a revolution?
Orbit
17
Imagine you are standing straight up and then you lean to the side. Try it now!!!
This means you are tilting. The earth also tilts.
So if the earth is facing the sun, one part is leaning towards the sun.
The other part is tilting away from it.
This means that although it's daylight, they are different seasons.
The part tilting towards the sun is getting more energy/heat which means it's summer.
What season would be the one tilting away?
Some text here about the topic of discussion.
The Earth is on a TILT
