Tujuan Pembelajaran
Peserta didik mampu mengenali kalimat simple present tense.
Peserta didik mampu membuat pola kalimat sederhana dalam bentuk simple present tense
Peserta didik mampu mengubah kalimat affirmative menjadi kalimat negative dan interrogative dalam bentuk simple present tense
Peserta didik dapat mengenali dan menggunakan bentuk waktu dalam simple present tense.

Simple Present Tense (masa sekarang)
Simple Present Tense adalah salah satu bentuk waktu yang digunakan untuk menyatakan fakta, kebenaran umum, kebiasaan dan juga aktivitas sehari hari.

Pola Kalimat
1. Positive sentence
S + V1(-s/-es) + O
note:
untuk subject orang ketiga tunggal (he,she,it) kata kerja harus ditambahkan akhiran -s/-es.
For Example:
a. She cooks fried rice in the kitchen.
b. You always go to school by bus.
3. They play football every Sunday afternoon.

2. Negative Sentence
S + do/does + not + V1 + O
note:
untuk subject ketiga tunggal (he,she,it) menggunakan auxiliary verb does sedangkan untuk subject (I, you, we, they) menggunakan do
For Example:
a. She does not cook fried rice in the kitchen.
b. You do not always go to school by bus.
c. They do not always play football every Sunday afternoon.
