​Istilah-istilah yang Merujuk pada Pengertian Drama Tradisional Masyarakat

a. Sandiwara : Mangkunegara VII --> bahasa Jawa "sandhi" > rahasia dan warah > pengajaran. Ki Hajar Dewantara --> sandiwara > pengajaran yg dilakukan dgn perlambang (tidak langsung).

b. Lakon : (1) cerita drama, wayang, film. (2) karangan cerita sandiwara. (3) perbuatan, kejadian, peristiwa.

c. Tonil : Belanda --> toneel > pertunjukkan (penjajahan Belanda)

d. Sendratari : seni & tari > pertunjukkan tari dgn cerita (no dialog)

e. Tablo : drama > sikap & posisi pemain, dibantu pencerita (no dialog)
