Short Story -- Alọ Kukuru

Kini a ma kọ?:

A ma kọ bi a n ṣe sọ oriṣiriṣi ounjẹ ni ede Yoruba.

A ma kọ awọn nnkan ati ọrọ ti o lọ pẹlu ounjẹ sise tabi jijẹ ni ede Yoruba.

​Ounjẹ ni gbogbo nkan ti a ma n fi si ẹnu ti ko ni jẹ ki ebi pa wa, ti o si n ma n fun ara ni alaafia.

Ni owurọ ọjọ kan, Anikẹ ji, o joko si ori ibusun bi ikun ẹ ṣe pariwo. O ranti pe oun ko jẹun ni ale ana.

O dide lọ si yara ẹgbọn rẹ. Ige ti wẹ, o n wọ aṣo re. 'E kaarọ boda mi. 'Anikẹ ki egbọn rẹ. 'Ṣe daada ni o ji, Anike mi ọwọn' ẹgbọn re dahun.

​

Anikẹ sọ fun ẹgbọn rẹ pe ebi n pa oun. Ige r'ẹrin, o sọ fun pe oun mọ pe ebi ni a ji nitori pe ko jẹun ki o to lọ sun.​

Awọn mejeji jade kuro ninu yara lọ si ile idana. Anikẹ ni Iṣu, ẹyin ati obe ẹja dindin ni oun fẹran ju sugbọn oun ma jẹ ẹwa ati dodo ti oun o jẹ ni ana ki o ba ya.

Kini ounjẹ ti Anike fẹran ju? Ounje wo ni Anike wa jẹ? Kini idi ti o fi je ounjẹ mi yato si'yi ti o fẹran ju? Ti iwọ ba jẹ Anikẹ, ounjẹ wo ni wa jẹ ati pe kini idi naa?

One early morning, Anikẹ woke up, she sat up on the bed as her tummy rumbled. She remembered that she did not eat last night.

She got up and went to her brother's room.Ige had taken a bath and was wearing his clothes. 'Good morning my brother. 'Anikẹ greeted her older brother. 'Did you sleep well, my dear Anike' her older brother responsed.

​

Anikẹ told him that she was hungry. Ige laughed and told her that he knew she was going to wake up very hungry because she did not eat before going to bed.​

​

They went out of the room to the kitchen. Anikẹ said her favourite food was yam and egg with fish stew but she would the eat beans and fried plantain she did not eat last night so it can be fast.
