A period property is a home built within a specific period of time, usually before the first world war (pre-1914).

The Georgian period covers the reign of George 1 to George 1V. Broadly covering the 18th C. Townhouses were common, sash windows with smaller panes​ are typically Georgian. Cambered arches etc.
