A greeting is simply a way of saying hello to someone.
We use greeting expressions when we meet a person.

Greetings can be divided into two, namely formal and informal.

- Formal greetings are used for formal situations/events or when you talk to people who are older than you or also to appreciate the person you are dealing with more.

-Informal greetings are inversely proportional to formal where this expression is used when interacting in a relaxed atmosphere and with friends of the same age.
