• ​Cardinal Sin encouraged the Filipinos to help end the regime of then President Ferdinand Marcos in a broadcast in radio veritas.

• ​A major protest happened on February 22-25, 1986 along EDSA.

• 2 million Filipinos were involved in the protest.​
