You can use "tags" to be more specific about WHO is liking something.

These MUST match the IDOP (indirect object pronoun).

​These refer to WHO is liking something. They must be used with "gustar" (and similar verbs).

Literally "to X" something is pleasing.

Me gusta = something is pleasing "to me"​

​This verb "isn't like the other verbs". In that it uses IDOPs to express WHO likes something. Gustar only conjugates in TWO forms (gusta and gustan - singular and plural).

For now, we will only use "gusta" (singular) followed by an infinitive verb.​
