China is located in the Eastern part of Asia ,on the West coast of the Pacific Ocean.
India lies in South Asia between Pakistan,China and Nepal

Physical characteristics - India
India is surrounded by the Bay of Bengal in the east,Arabian Sea to the westand the Indian ocean to the south.
Northen India is separated by the rest of India by the Himalaya mountains
India can be divided into 6 physiographic regions which are : The Himalaya mountains, Northern plains, The Great Indian Desert,The Peninsular Plateau,Coastal plains and Islands.
The 3 main rivers in India are The Ganges,the Indus and the Brahmaputra and they all bedin in the Himalaya mountains.
Rivers play an important role in the lives of Indian people which are: irrigation,potable water,cheap transportation,electricity and livelihoods for a large number of people all over the country

China is divided into 3 natural realms

2.Northwest Arid China
3.Tibet Frigid Plateau
China is a mountainous country with its 2/3 covered by mountains,hills and plateaus.
China has a great number of rivers amounting to 36,with the Yellow River and Yangtze being some of the major ones.
The Chinese civilization rose in the Yellow River and people built their settlements there for them to access water for their livelihood.
