What is FORESHADOWING?
Foreshadowing is when an author uses hints or clues to signal what will happen next or later in a story.
Typically, foreshadowing clues are given in the exposition, inciting action, and rising action of a text, and they foreshadow a key part of the turning point or resolution.
On the slides that follow, you will read the quote and determine whether it is an example of foreshadowing or not.
