1 Brainstorm and note down a list of problems (e.g. noisy air—conditioning system) and their effects (eg. headaches).

2 Decide which problems you want to mention in your report (you need to limit the number of ideas so that you can deal with the whole task within the word limit). Then think of improvements to deal with them.

3 You need to persuade your manager to implement your ideas. Discuss what you can say to explain how the improvements will make your office more productive.

4 Decide which two changes you will recommend and the reasons for recommending them.
