Also called statements

• A statement ends with a period.

​Interrogative Sentences

• A sentence that asks something is called a questions

• A question ends with a question mark.

​These are questions.

They ask for information.

​Was the airport crowded?

When did her plane land?

Did David buy a ticket?

Do you like to fly?

If the sentence isa statement/Declarative, type D.

If the sentence is a Question/Interrogative, type I.
