Hazrat Musleh Maud r.a said until God informed him that he indeed was the manifestation of the prophecy of Musleh Maud, he stayed silent and only spoke when God told him to tell others.

In this prophecy, God informed the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) that he will have a son who will serve faith and will have numerous qualities.

On 28th January 1944, Hazrat Musleh Maud (may Allah be pleased with him) said that God had destined his person to be the fulfillment of the prophecy of Musleh Maud.

20th February is recognized as the day of the prophecy of Musleh Maud in the Ahmadiyya Community.

A young Mahmud’s pilgrimage to Arabia

On 7 September 1905 the Promised Messiahas said that in a vision, he was shown a paper on which was written:

مصالح‭ ‬العرَب‭ ۔‬‬مَسيرالعَرَبِ

“Setting right the affairs of the Arabs. Journey among Arabs.”

In 1912, prior to his khilafat Hadhrat Musleh Maud fulfilled this prophecy by travelling to Egypt and from there, went to Mecca where he offered Hajj.

Minarat-ul-Masih

  • Foretelling the advent of the Promised Reformer of the latter days, the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammadsa prophesied: 

    فَيَنْزِلُ عِنْدَ الْمَنَارَةِ الْبَيْضَاءِ شَرْقِيَّ دِمَشْقَ

  • “He (the Promised Reformer) will descend near the white minaret, East of Damascus.” (Sahih Muslim, Kitab al-Fitan wa Ashrat as-Sa‘ah)

  • After the death of Hadhrat Maulvi Noor ud Deen Khalifa I , on 14 March 1924 Hadhrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad r.a. was elected as the second Khalifa of Jamm'at

  • The election happened in Masjid Noor after Asar prayers where Maulvi Muhammad Ahasn Amrohi sb suggested Hadhrat Musleh Maud Name for Khilafat and the whole Jamm'at present in Qadian echoed the same.

  • In 1924, during his journey to London for Wembley’s Conference of Living Religions, Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad, Musleh-e-Maudra visited various Middle Eastern and European countries.

  • Hazoor also wrote Tafseer Saghir, in which he shared the Message of Islam in a concise but concrete way.
