Narrative Writing/Paragraph

  1. Narrative writing tells a story using

    1. a beginning,

    2. middle, and

    3. an end. 

  2. It includes elements such as characters, setting, problem, and solution. 

  3. The author’s purpose is usually to entertain or teach a lesson. 

  4. Narrative writing can be fact or fiction but the process is the same.

Relative Clauses

These describe the preceding noun in such a way to distinguish it from other nouns of the same class. A clause of this kind is essential to clear understanding of the noun.

You will not write the same nouns as they are replaced by that/which/who.

I bought a new car. It is very fast.

→ I bought a new car that is very fast.

We can use relative clauses to join two English sentences, or to give more information about something.
