• The first football game was played on November 6, 1869.

  • Princeton vs Rutgers in New Jersey

• Combination of Rugby and newly desired American rules

• 11 Players

• Run or Pass

• Score points to win

• Reach endzones at each end of the 100 yard field

How do you Play?

2 Points are given to the team who tackles the opposing team in their endzone.

• 1 point if kick attempt is good

• 2 points if conversion attempt is good

P.A.T.s

3 points are given to the team that successfully kicks the ball through the field goal post at anytime

6 points are given to the team the reaches their assigned endzone with possession of the ball
