  • The Families of Judeans that were exiled spent 70 years away from from Judah they became known as the Jews and their religion as Judaism.

  • Since the temple was destroyed small groups of Jews began to meet on the Sabbath in Jewish Houses of worship known as synagogues

  • The Sabbath started at sundown on Friday and lasted until nightfall on Saturday.

  • Worship meant that Jews prayed and talked about their history and religion. Jews still observe the sabbath today.
