The Families of Judeans that were exiled spent 70 years away from from Judah they became known as the Jews and their religion as Judaism.
Since the temple was destroyed small groups of Jews began to meet on the Sabbath in Jewish Houses of worship known as synagogues
The Sabbath started at sundown on Friday and lasted until nightfall on Saturday.
Worship meant that Jews prayed and talked about their history and religion. Jews still observe the sabbath today.

God Disapproved and made them speak different languages so they could not communicate or work together.

Daniel - A trusted advisor of a Babylonian king, was a Jew and refused to worship Babylonian Gods.
