​To create compund nouns you must combine two compatible words.

This words have a definition when they are separated but adquire a new one when put together.

Here are some examples.

​Jelly + Fish

​Jellyfish

Another example.

​Tea + Spoon

​Teaspoon

​Think about

​Two words together creating a new word are "compound words" in this case we have compund nouns, but there are also compound adjectives and verbs.

Compound nouns don't separate.
