American Academy of Professional Coders

Offers a Certified Professional Biller certification (CPB)

as well as various coding credentials (Certified Professional Coder- CPC, etc.)

AAPC

American Health Information Management Association

is more HIM focused but offers various coding credentials (Certified Coding Associate- CCA, etc.) as well as HIM credentials such as RHIT and RHIA
