Expectation of a Gentleman:

1. All Black Tie Affair members are to sit on the first two rows in all their classes.

2. No tardies during any transition

3. No office referrals

4. Always in good academic standings in all classes.

Hygiene Discussion:

1. Process of Showering: Shower Daily! Lather your full body at least two times. The first lather is to rid your body of all the debris of the day. The second lather is to spread the fragrance of the product onto your body.

2. It is essential to shower more during the seasons in which the weather is hotter, such as summer and spring. Sometimes showering twice a day to keep your body scent at top tier.

Application of Fragrance/Scent:

As you all know the fragrance that men wear is called cologne and the fragrance a women wears is called perfume.

History of Cologne: Cologne was invented in the 18th century by Italian perfumer Giovanni Maria Farnia for the royal courts of Europe. The word cologne comes from the German city....

Continued: of Cologne, where Farnia was living at the time. Cologne was used as a status symbol, and smelling pleasant was a luxury restricted to royalty and the nobility.

Types of Cologne:

A. Eau de Toilette: This cologne category is for fragrance with essential oil or perfume extract concentrations of between 5%-15%. It has a performance of at least 2-4 hours. Most popular version of cologne.

B. Eau de Parfum: This cologne category is for fragrance with essential oil or perfume extract concentrations of between 15%-25%. Usually the more expensive of the two types due to higher levels of content. It has a higher percentage of typically 8 hours of performance.
