Summary

Kimi is whining at her brother about taking her to the bathroom, but Tetsu wants to go to the baseball field. Kimi and Tetsu forgot the pillowcase when they get to the restrooms and Kimi won't go in and insists Tetsu go back and get the pillowcase. Tetsu tells Kimi she is old enough to go by herself and leaves his sister. Later, Tetsu discovers Kimi is gone. Tetsu has to take Kimi's lizards box away from a boy who says he found it under a bush. George and Horse go with Tetsu to look for Kimi outside of camp. They find her- she has been gone in the desert for a day and she isn't doing well. Horse carries her back and they take her to the infirmary. Horse waits with Tetsu and his mom for Kimi to wake up. She wakes up, but has Valley Fever and will need lots of rest and time if she is going to recover. Tetsu decides to make a fish pond for Kimi. Tetsu doesn't want to play baseball anymore becasue he feels guilty about leaving Kimi. Kimi clutches her lizard box while she rests.
