What is the real value of money?

The value of money is symbolic. In general, money is represented

either by coins or bills. Bills usually have an image of an important

person. Fabricating coins and bills are cheap. For example,

to produce a $100 bill only costs 12.5 cents.

Money is a medium of exchange for goods and services. Money

makes people understand the price of goods and gives them a way to

save to buy bigger things in the future. Money has value because

everyone accepts that a certain piece of paper is useful for buying

things. But money, as we know it today, has not always existed.
