This course introduces the basic skills of reading and understanding, speaking, listening, and writing in French together with some basic grammar. Students will practice the correct French pronunciation and intonation. Some aspects of the country, France, its culture and traditions will also be introduced. Students should be able to read and write simple texts in French and engage in simple conversations on common topics. Cultural elements will be incorporated in each lesson.
