  • A past tense

  • Used to show narrative, continual or habitual action in the past.

    • Often see in telling stories or general actions in the past.

  • English: "past progressive"

    • Once upon a time the she wolf was sleeping in her cave.

    • I used to go to the movies a lot when I was younger.

    • She kept on leaving messages on my phone even after I dumped her.

    • You were (being) seen by Dr. Pepo on Friday's when you broke your leg.
