PAST PERFECT PROGRESSIVE

Past Perfect Progressive describes something that began, continued and concluded in the past.

To form Past Perfect Progressive: Use had + been + (-ing) form of the verb.

Example: I had been riding the bus until I got my license.

Example: Frank had been sending get-well wishes to his uncle.

FUTURE PERFECT PROGRESSIVE

Future Perfect Progressive describes something that begins in the present and continues into the future.

To form Future Perfect Progressive: Use will have + been + (-ing) form of the verb

Example: By the time the class ends, the students will have been working for 10 minutes without a break.

Example: Hailey will have been performing piano concerts for 7 years this June.
