What is Quizizz?

  • Quizizz is similar to other technology assessment tools you may already be familiar with (like Kahoot, Pear Deck, etc.).

    • It's like a combination of Pear Deck and Kahoot!

  • Teacher's can create their own interactive lessons and quizzes, or choose from thousands of ready-to-go lessons/quizzes.

  • It's a FREE website where you can make a FREE account!!

    • However, there are some features that require a subscription.

    • There is an option for a district subscription, or a personal subscription.

4

How will I plan to use it?

  • We are about to begin our final week of 8th Grade Social Studies STAAR Review.

    • I plan on using Quizizz for our "big review" over all the material we have covered this year.

    • They will be answering STAAR questions that appeared on past tests.

5

The desired results are for students to recall and review past material they need to know for our STAAR Test.

What are the desired results?

Instead of an interactive lesson, like this presentation, they will be participating in a quiz (similar to Kahoot).
