Let's recap: The skill of inference
Inference allows us to make logical conclusions from the clues found in a text(s).
We will be using this skill quite a lot when analyising visual texts and questions, to arrive at the most logical answer.

Themes are a common idea or topic shared between two texts.
E.g. Health, Technology and Science are different topics/ideas. They fall under Themes.
Theme
Tone is the general attitude conveyed in a text.
E.g. Angry, Friendly, Persuasive are different attitudes conveyed in a text. They fall under tones.
Tone
Perspective is the point of view shared by the writer of a text on a topic.
E.g. Agree, Disagree, Neutral are different points of views from a writer. They fall under perspectives.
