What are Digital Electronics?
Digital electronics are not too different from boolean algebra, however, instead of using operators and symbols, we use 'logic gates.'
These logic gates represent the various boolean operators, such as but not including, OR, NOT, and XOR.
4
The buffer gate takes in the input and simply outputs itself.
So, the output is simply the input.

5
The not gate simply negates the output.
If A was 1, the output is 0.

Example
Let us examine this example of a circuit.
We are asked to find out all values of
A, B, and C which make the output false.
A and B first go through a NAND gate,
which is simply . Then, and C go through an OR gate. So the boolean expression is simply: . I shall leave it to you to solve the above problem with your Boolean Algebra skills.
