​Read the tips and strategies for taking the NM-MSSA state test. Answer the questions.

​Tip #1

Multiple Choice

For test questions I should

• read the WHOLE question carefully before attempting to answer it

• read all the answer choices before picking one.

• ask a friend to help me.

Tip #2

Multiple Choice

A good strategy after reading a multiple choice question would be to:

• Answer the question in your mind first without looking at the answer options and then check your answer options.

• Select a random answer without reading all of them

• Try and look at someone else's paper.

Eliminating the wrong answers or using the process of elimination does what? (Check ALL that apply)

• Ensures that the correct answer is still an option

• Saves time

• Increases the likelihood that you get the answer right

Tip #4

Multiple Choice

Many times there will be two answer choices that seem correct. You should:

• Be sure to read and select the BEST of the two, whichever one addresses the WHOLE question

• Select whichever questions seems right
