The leaders of At-Ta'if rejected his message
and insulted him and they ordered their children
to throw rocks and stones at Prophet
Muhammad, peace be upon him, to drive him out
of the city. The rocks that were thrown at him
by the children caused him to bleed seriously.

Where did the prophet go after?

Tired and wounded, he sought refuge in a nearby

garden and sat under a grape tree to rest. He did

not attack or harm them.The Prophet (pbuh)

never desired revenge but showed compassion

towards those who wronged him,he always Praying

for people to be guided.
The Messenger of Allah prayed to his Lord,

referring to his difficult situation,

Did Allah answer the prophet's prayer?

The Messenger of Allah had not finished his prayer when the Truthful Gabriel and another angel, the angel of mountains, descended to his side. Allah had sent down two of His angels for help. Gabriel was saying: “O Muhammad! Verily
Allah the Almighty knows what your tribe said o you and what they did after turning their backs on you, He sent you the angel
Whose orders the mountains obey!”

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) kindness and patience

The angel keeper of the mountains greeted our noble Prophet and
said: “If you should want it, O Muhammad, I will pull down these
two mountains over the people of Taif!”

It was then that one would witness, once again, the true character
of the Prophet of Mercy. Despite everything, his decision would set
an example for his followers. That is why the Messenger of Allah
said without a moment of hesitation: “No, never! The Prophet
replied, “No. I hope one day their children will accept Islam and
worship the One God”.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) kindness and patience

One’s true nature could be observed on similar occasions; the
response of the noble Messenger also showed what kind of a man
he was.

Then, the angel of the mountains, who had been sent down to pull
the mountains over the heads of the people of Taif started to
speak in awe: “You truly are merciful and gracious like your Lord
has named you!”
