IBとDPの教育は世界中の大学機関にも高く評価されています。日本でも年々IBの認定校、そして卒業生を受けいれる大学が増加しています。

最も広い意味での「探究」は、より深いレベルの理解を得るために用いられるプロセスです。探究には、推測、探求、質問、そして接続が含まれます。すべてのIBプログラムにおいて、探究心は好奇心を育て、批判的で創造的な思考を促進します。

The structure of the PYP, MYP, and DP is based on inquiry-based education. The PYP and MYP are a bridge to the DP and provide an effective preparation period and foundation for the IB, which is a major advantage of OIS as an IB-integrated school.

The IB and DP are highly regarded by universities around the world. The number of IB-accredited schools and universities accepting IB graduates in Japan is increasing every year.

Inquiry, in its broadest sense, is the process that is used to move deeper levels of understanding. Inquiry involves speculating, exploring, questioning, and connecting. In all IB programmes, inquiry develops curiosity and promotes critical and creative thinking.

​MYP評価基準

評価は、すべての教育と学習に不可欠です。MYPの評価では、教師は教科グループごとに設定された評価基準を使用して、指定された目標を評価する必要があります。各教科グループには、4つの評価基準が設けられています。

The MYP Assessment Criteria

Assessment is integral to all teaching and learning. MYP assessment requires teachers to assess the prescribed objectives using a set of assessment criteria for their subject group. There are four criteria being assessed for each subject group.

These rigorous assessment tasks are developed by the teachers embracing a variety of assessment strategies to make the experience authentic and meaningful. The mandated subject assessment criteria allow the teachers to have a transparent judgment on student performance. These criteria are detailed and clarified by the specific descriptors to help identify the precise student achievement level. Teachers use a "best-fit" approach in which teachers work collaboratively to establish holistic expectations.
