It is through loving relationships and leisure activities like photography or reading that provide happiness and meaning. Sadly, these things are often undervalued in a world that places more importance on economic exchange, consumption, and screwing bolts all day. We forget the potential of our ears, eyes, and hands. As a result, pursuing happiness and personal joy is really a rebellious act. Instead of feeling like we are doing something wrong when we enjoy our lives, we should be proud that we are using our bodies and minds to explore the world and experience pleasure, joy, and compassion.
