It was a somber evening as Jesus sat with his closest disciples for what would be their last supper together. He knew what was to come, but his followers were still in the dark. As they ate and drank together, Jesus spoke of his impending death and the betrayal of one of their own.
After the meal, Jesus led his disciples to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. It was there that Judas Iscariot arrived with a group of soldiers, ready to arrest Jesus. With a kiss on the cheek, Judas identified Jesus to the soldiers, and they took him away to be tried and ultimately crucified.
As Jesus hung on the cross, his disciples watched in horror and grief. But even in his darkest moments, Jesus forgave those who were responsible for his crucifixion. He asked for mercy for those who had condemned him, saying, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
Despite the pain and suffering, Jesus remained steadfast in his faith and love for his followers. He promised them that he would rise again on the third day, and he kept his word. His resurrection gave hope to his disciples and to all who believe in him, and his sacrifice continues to inspire and guide us to this day.

He is Risen: Passage!
It was a beautiful Sunday morning when Mary Magdalene and the other women went to the tomb to anoint Jesus' body with spices. However, when they arrived, they were shocked to find the stone rolled away and the tomb empty. Suddenly, two angels appeared and told them that Jesus had risen from the dead.
The women ran back to tell the disciples the good news, but they didn't believe them until they saw Jesus Himself. He appeared to them, showing them His hands and feet, which still bore the wounds of the crucifixion.
The disciples were overjoyed and amazed, and their faith was strengthened by this miraculous event. They knew that Jesus was truly the Son of God, and that He had conquered death and sin once and for all.
From that day forward, they preached the Gospel message of salvation and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. And even today, we celebrate the Resurrection and the hope it brings to all who believe.
